红豆生南国，
春来发几枝
愿君多采撷
此物最相思

thinking of you

red beans grow in southern lands
sprout how many twigs in spring
please pick more this year for me
i will think of you with them

steig vom pferd und trink,
wohin reitest du?
kehrst betruebt zurueck
suedlich ins gebirg.
geh, ich frag nicht mehr
wenn die wolken ziehn.
